“David Ferron is located in a brick building in the middle of the Unionville Village Historic District that was built in 1887 and is formally known as the Unionville Saddle Shop. Since early 2018, David has been creating custom garments for the men and women of Unionville Pa, and beyond. David Ferron is an award-winning fashion designer who received the Designer of the Year award from Parsons School of Design and has received design awards from Main Line Today for three consecutive years. He specializes in creating exquisite garments for special occasions to fit every body, regardless of size or shape. Clients don’t worry about sizing in his studio because each garment is made to their precise measurements.

Before becoming a design studio, 1712 W Doe Run Road was a tack shop. For decades the Unionville Saddle Shop was the place to go for the local equestrian community for repairs, supplies, and riding gear. In September 1979, Ralph B. Wickersham incorporated the Unionville Saddle Shop. Then, in February 1991, Alice L. Jussle became the president and operated it until Ferron opened in 2018. Before it was a saddle shop, 1712 was home to specialty retail establishments including James Gault Grocery.

Above the storefront at 1712 is an apartment with original curved walls of horsehair and plaster where Ferron currently resides and uses as a painting studio for his fine art and photography.” From the Chester County House Tour Booklet.

We hope to see you in the studio today!

Love,
David
