A Little About me.

As a child, the notion of having a fashion studio in Unionville never crossed my mind, but in retrospect, it might have been exactly what I needed. Following design school and a stint in New York City, I yearned for a reconnection with my roots and the prospect of a fresh, exhilarating creative chapter. Rediscovering that creative drive has become a constant in every custom garment I create and in each new personality I encounter, unveiling an entirely new chapter of inspiration.

My Career

Graduating from Parsons School of Design in 2011 marked the beginning of my professional journey as a fashion designer, where I garnered the prestigious Designer of the Year award for womenswear. This achievement catapulted me into the vibrant fashion scene of New York City, launching a trajectory that included pivotal roles at Calvin Klein, Ann Taylor, Behnaz Sarafphour, Bibhu Mohapatra, and Tomas Maier before reaching the pinnacle as a Senior Designer at Nicole Miller.

In 2017, facing a career shift, I returned to my roots in Unionville, PA, where I embarked on a new chapter. Over the past six years, I've dedicated myself to crafting numerous garments for the local community, earning recognition from esteemed institutions such as Main Line Today. Alongside this, I embraced teaching roles at the Made Institute in Philadelphia and undertook freelance projects for Anthropologie Weddings.

Since the inception of my studio, I've endeavored to cultivate an environment of positivity, infusing every aspect of my rich design experience into the creative process.

  • I was commissioned to craft a collection of bridal pieces for inclusion in the Anthropologie Wedding selection for the year 2024.

  • From 2021 to 2023, I served on the teaching staff at Made Institute, a fashion design program situated in Philadelphia, PA, where my role involved instructing classes on the intricacies of the design process and transforming a sketch into a tangible creation.

  • Throughout my tenure as the senior designer at Nicole Miller, spanning three collections, I had the privilege of collaborating with an exceptional team in New York, collectively crafting designs for the iconic brand.

  • Between 2015 and 2017, I collaborated with the design team across NYC, Florida, and Milan, contributing to the creation of upscale casual designs for both men and women. My involvement spanned diverse categories, including knitwear, denim, swimwear, ready-to-wear, and accessories.

  • In the studio at Bibhu Mohapatra, I designed elaborate eveningwear and cocktail attire infused with artistic influences.

  • My initiation into the world of garment making began at Behnaz Sarafphour, where we crafted collections characterized by a meticulous level of detail and elegance tailored for the modern woman.

  • At the outset of my career, I began at Ann Taylor, contributing to the development of industry mood boards and color stories.

  • During my final year at Parsons School of Design, I immersed myself in the design studio at Calvin Klein, supporting designers in the development of seasonal collections.

  • Over the course of my four-year degree at Parsons, I acquired a deep understanding of critical theory intertwined with the design process, refined my abilities as a professional creative, and laid the foundation for my distinctive aesthetic as a designer. Upon graduation, I was honored with the Designer of the Year Award for my senior thesis and invited to address the Fashion Department at our graduation ceremony.
