Tomas Maier

Designer

Feb 2015 - Aug 2017

Throughout my tenure at Tomas Maier, I immersed myself in the meticulous process of building collections around seasonal inspirations under the guidance of Mr. Maier. Working within the Kering Group-owned company, I was introduced to the world of Italian craftsmanship, concurrently witnessing Mr. Maier's design work as the creative director of Bottega Veneta. Engaged fully in the design of men's and women's luxury casual garments, often referred to as "time off" clothing, I covered a spectrum from swimwear to leather goods and cashmere.

Throughout my two-year-plus experience at Tomas Maier, I not only developed an appreciation for the European approach to dressing but also for crafting wardrobes that extended beyond special occasions. These were garments designed for longevity, with each collection seamlessly building upon the previous one in terms of inspiration and color palette. The goal was to offer customers an evolving wardrobe, eschewing abrupt trend-driven changes and instead fostering a timeless style that would remain fashionable for years to come.
